How do you normally charge for your service?

My callout charge which includes the first hour is $120.00+ gst and thereafter is $75.00+gst per hour. My services includes a full diagnostic check on the running of your hardware and software where possible this will be optimised for best performance.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Q. What Desktop or Laptop to buy? A. A middle range computer and laptop, don’t go for cheap or old technology. I usually do the research for them at no cost. Q. How to stop malware, viruses and other nasties that come into the computer. A. A good Anti Virus program and be careful how to surf the Net.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Make sure that when you hire a person, find out the cost of the callout and does that include the fist hour of service, if not how much more is the actual cost. Find out what happens if the person cannot repair your computer, is there a cost involved.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to customers?

Free Anti Virus software that will be installed on your computer from Avast or AVG. Free Advice on how to better manage your computer against computer nasties, like Malware, viruses etc.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to know if your computer can boot into windows operations system. If it can, how long before the desktop appears. What hardware are you using, is it a laptop, PC. What CPU, Ram and Hard drive, what operating software, and the year of purchase.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the technology, the changes, the innovation that excites me. I can use this for my clients and see the positive response on their faces which gives me a sense of achievement and fulfilment.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips.

1. Make sure that you backup important Data 2. Have all your passwords for the computer, software and modem available. 3.Have all the software that is needed for the repair or installation of your computer.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I get repeated business from my existing clients and they recommended me to other friends and business that need my kind of servicers. My clients have no problems leaving me by myself in their home of business offices.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been interested in Computers since 1989 and since then I am addicted to it. I love the technology and the challengers that it brings with it. This industry keeps me alert with its ever changing ways of improvement and innovation.

My call out fee which $120.00+ gst also includes the first hour whereas my competitors charge are higher call out fee plus the time they are on the job. My fee includes a very thorough diagnostic test on your hardware and software.
